What is ERA?

This is an international collaboration of high-quality real estate agents. The collaboration was established in 1972 under the name Electronic Realty Associates, and currently, there are approximately 240 affiliated real estate agencies in the Netherlands. We are the only ERA real estate agency in Amsterdam, which means that as a buyer or seller, you can benefit from all the advantages that ERA offers through us. What is NVM?

NVM (Nederlandse vereniging voor Makelaars) stands for the Dutch Association of Realtors and Valuers. It is the largest professional association in the Netherlands within this field. NVM real estate agents stand for expertise and reliability, and therefore all adhere to the NVM Code of Conduct. This way, as a buyer or seller, you have a guarantee of the quality of service provided. NVM real estate agents possess the necessary diplomas and certificates and maintain their level of knowledge through continuous education. Moreover, the NVM provides various tools, an extensive network, and a rich database to facilitate the sale or purchase. The most well-known tool is Funda, the demand and supply platform where over 4.5 million unique visitors come together every month.

What is MVA?

This is the Amsterdam Brokers Association, the professional organization of brokers and appraisers in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Region and the largest department within the NVM. In addition to the NVM, the MVA offers additional benefits. This allows for even more targeted collaboration at the regional level and provides additional training opportunities through the MVA Academy. Additionally, special quality labels have been developed to assist buyers and sellers even better in choosing the right real estate agent in the region. For example, we have the MVA Leasehold Expert label. The leasehold scheme in the Amsterdam region is unique and complex, often necessitating assistance in this area.
