Founder Ramon Brouwer was added to the project team working on the redevelopment of the area by the new owner of the site. Just like the rest of North Amsterdam, this area is now buzzing with life. In this interview, Ramon shares more about the relationship between 123makelaar and Amsterdam North.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What was your role in the redevelopment of the Stork site?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I advised on new uses, finishing levels, rental prices, and solutions for tax issues. Despite the financial crisis, the first tenants quickly signed up, including Caf\u00e9-Restaurant Stork and a ROC. Since 2013, we have been located at Gedempt Hamerkanaal 89, an office where the industrial and creative character of the site is clearly reflected in the interior. Much of our network and work is in North, so the Hamerkwartier is the perfect base for us.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What kind of work do you typically do in Amsterdam North?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have been providing our services across all corners of North for many years. We have done various major projects in the Vogelbuurt, and we sell homes for a major client in the Plan van Gool, the Banne, and the entire Tuindorp area. We also handled the sale of 325 homes in the Bloemenbuurt. In short, no neighborhood escapes our attention in the beautiful North.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why is North such an interesting district?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our real estate agency originated from the aforementioned project on the former Stork site. The redevelopment of this site is just a small part of the urban renewal in North. It is the most dynamic district of Amsterdam. From new developments to transformations everything comes by here.
